“For me, Bial stands out because of the people who make it what it is”

Meet Esteve Roca, Manager, Regional Sales - LB2!

ACADEMIA AND MOTIVATION
I studied Business Administration and Management, and later completed my academic education with an MBA. Why? Because I have been passionate about the world of business since I was young. I remember clearly, at school, trading stickers with my friends to complete our collection. Even back then, I would not trade mine for just any other one: I liked to maximise their value and get more than one in return. I believe that was my first experience with the business world… and certainly for many others.

WHY BIAL?
Before joining the company, I was in a very positive stage of my career. However, the truth is that, despite all this, I felt I did not have a clear path for development. It was then that Bial gave me an opportunity. I was already familiar with the company and, at that moment, I believed it was the ideal place to continue my career and development. Today, I can say I was not mistaken: I became part of a group of exceptional people and, since then, I have not stopped growing. I will always be grateful for the opportunity! For me, Bial stands out because of the people who make it what it is, as it is here that I have met extraordinary individuals. People who are not only highly competent, but, above all, truly great people.

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK AT BIAL?
My work at Bial constantly challenges me, not only due to the geographical mobility required, but also because of the transition from Medical Representative to Regional Sales Manager and the resulting increase in responsibility. For me, no two days are the same. My main goal as a Regional Sales Manager is the development of my team. For that reason, my tasks revolve around this goal: analysing data to identify opportunities or threats within the territory, monitoring the execution of activities, managing resources to maximise results, working cross-functionally with other departments such as Medical or Marketing, and getting to know the people in the team well so that they can perform the best they can. The best part of all this is working with good people, listening to them, understanding where I can help, and ensuring that they feel that my support contributes to them becoming better professionals.

To describe the Bial team, one word is enough: Fighter! We operate in highly competitive markets with very strong competition. Even so, we remain competitive. And that is the result of constant effort, resilience, teamwork, and the determination that everyone puts into achieving a common goal.
