Certificates of Management Systems of Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety, implemented in accordance with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 standards, respectively
These renovations reflect the consistency of BIAL’s Management Systems and the importance that each of these areas assume: Quality, as a strategic pillar of the company, the promotion of a healthy and safe work environment for all employees and environmental protection.
BIAL obtained the certification of the Quality Management System in 1998. In 2001, BIAL was the first pharmaceutical and healthcare company in Portugal to get the Certification of its Environmental Management System and, more recently, in 2010, obtained the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
